The second component of New Horizons offers school-based mental health services for children and their families. With an individualized and multidisciplinary approach, services are coordinated with district and local school personnel to achieve effective referral and treatment for children who have serious emotional and behavioral problems. These problems often stem from domestic violence they are experiencing in their households. Based on the strong belief that family participation is key to treating a child, highly experienced mental health professionals are committed to offering effective assessment, outpatient, in-home & school based consultation, case management, individual and family counseling, crisis intervention, teen anger management, domestic violence counseling and anger management to our families.
